Meet Angela Lynn
Angela Lynn is a Deaf media personality, educator, creator, storyteller, and belonging keynote speaker. As the founder of Project Belonging and founder and host of The Angela Lynn Show, she brings lived experience and human connection to the way people think about communication, accessibility, and belonging.
Her message begins with a practical question: What helps people participate, contribute, and know they belong? An invitation can open a door. What happens next depends on how people communicate, how access is planned, and whether people’s perspectives shape the experience.
Angela Lynn’s Project Belonging 360° Model brings the perspectives of Deaf, hard of hearing, hearing, DeafBlind, blind, and neurodivergent people, as well as people with hidden and visible disabilities, into the same conversation. Developed through lived experience, real stories, community voices, and case studies, it encourages people to consider belonging from more than one point of view.
Her REAL framework (Recognize, Engage, Access, and Listen) turns that wider perspective into practical choices. Leaders and teams can use it to notice barriers, invite participation, plan access, and listen with care.
Through The Angela Lynn Show, Angela Lynn creates a global stage where Deaf and hearing voices meet. Her work connects storytelling, advocacy, education, and communication access with a shared purpose: every voice belongs.
She earned her undergraduate degree at Gallaudet University and her master’s degree in deafness rehabilitation counseling at New York University. Her education, community leadership, and international experiences inform a message for workplaces, schools, conferences, and communities.
“Access opens the door. Inclusion invites people in. Belonging is what makes people want to stay.”Angela Lynn

Project Belonging’s REAL model introduces four actions: Recognize, Engage, Access, and Listen. It invites people to consider how their everyday choices can make belonging real.
What your audience can take into everyday life
Notice assumptions and make room for different ways people share and receive information.
Ask about participation needs and plan access into meetings, events, and everyday interactions.
Invite people’s perspectives and follow through on what you learn together.
Choose actions that help people know their presence and contribution matter.
Signature speaking topics
Give your audience a way to connect the message to their own people, work, and community. Angela Lynn’s talks invite reflection and make the next step clear.
An invitation is the beginning. Meaningful belonging grows through what people experience after they arrive. Explore how communication, access, respect, and participation shape that experience. With Project Belonging 360° and the REAL framework, Angela Lynn helps audiences look at familiar situations from different perspectives and choose more intentional actions.
A question to take back: Who is here, and who still needs a way to contribute?
Audience takeaways
A fit for leadership conferences, employee experience leaders, HR and learning teams, and employee resource groups.
How do people experience your meeting, workplace, or event? Explore communication access from the beginning of planning. Angela Lynn brings a Deaf perspective to everyday moments that can affect participation, including overlapping conversations, unclear information, videos without captions, and limited sightlines. Audiences consider how to ask, prepare, and follow through.
A question to take back: What can we plan now so people can participate fully?
Audience takeaways
A fit for accessibility leaders, event organizers, corporate teams, educators, government agencies, and nonprofits.

Project Belonging 360° Model and REAL Framework
The 360° model widens the conversation. REAL gives people a way to act on what they learn.

People can share the same room and experience it differently. Project Belonging 360° invites us to ask whose perspective we have considered and whose voice we still need to welcome.
Developed by Angela Lynn through lived experience, real stories, community voices, and case studies across diverse communities.
Notice who is present, who is missing, and which barriers affect participation.
Make room for people to share their perspectives and shape the conversation.
Plan communication, share information clearly, and prepare environments so people can participate.
Ask what is working, receive feedback, and follow through with action.
An everyday example
A team meeting moves quickly, people speak over one another, and some colleagues miss the discussion. Recognize the barrier. Engage people in planning. Support Access with shared materials, communication supports agreed upon in advance, and clear guidelines for taking turns to speak. Listen afterward and improve the next meeting.
The next step: build participation into the meeting plan.
